I'm shipping two Aoudads to a tannery for the first time. After fleshing is it salt the hide for two to three days then wash or wash then send? Can I send in a box inside a paper bag. Not sure on the process. Checked archives and did not locate anything. If there is something let me know.

And the easiest one, too! ASK YOUR TANNER! Theres no need to wash them. If they were very bloody when processing, that would be the time to rinse the blood out, but you are ok otherwise. Put them in a bag inside a box, not the other way around. Again, if you ever feel unsure, just ask your tannery. They are there for that exact purpose, and they wont mind at all! Good luck.
