I have used this product before with no problen except for now. I just finished shaving a deer hide after using krowtan and all turned out just like it is suppose to but thr nose are and the lower chin areas are still still, to stiff to thin, thought I would renutrialize for 10 to 15 min anf then thin with skife. If places on the hide that arnt soft and strechy after you do your final fleshing and you have done aditional nutralizeing what could be hapening is you had a hold in the hide when it was in the water&bakingsoda or you could have acid swell a little salt in your nutralizeing step will cure this in future tanning.
