Could I Use Soap?

I heard that you can use soap as an oiling process. Would this work? If so, what kind of soap should I use and what would the steps be in using soap as an oiling process?
Thank You

do your self a favor and forget mineral oil its a non-drying greasy oil. no good! you need to use a super good tanning oil. like bruces supersoft. its a little expensive. but works very very good.
