i bought some SO-320 tanning oil and it came with directions but after i heat it up and stir it, should i apply a coat and let it sit for 30 min and apply another coat and let it sit for 30 min then cover with plastic wrap and let it sit over night? thats what you do for the ammonia-water-sulfated neatsfoot oil solution but should i do that with this oil?
thanks

GET YOUR HIDES GOOD AND MOIST. MAYBE USE A LITTLE OF THAT AMMONIA WITH THE MOISTENING WATER. THEN HEAT YOUR OIL A LITTLE. [NOT TOO HOT].. BRUSH IT ON. FOLD THEM IN A PILE. LEATHER TO LEATHER. SET AT A SLIGHT INCLINE. THAT POSITIVLY CHARGES OIL WILL ACTUALLY DRIVE THE WATER OUT. AND YOU CAN WATCH IT DRAIN OVER THE NEXT 8-11 HOURS. THEN HANG AND DRY YOU SKINS.
HOPE THIS HELPS SOME!

I'm oiling and finishing a coyote skin, but I'm not sure where I can by sulfated neatsfoot oil, suggestions? Thanks, Matt
