I am air-drying a skin.
Is it okay if the skin is dry 98% of the way after 3 hours?
The areas treated with Stop Rot are not yet dry. Eyes and ear bases.
The rest of the skin, except the inside of the tail and a couple of paw pads, is dry.
The pelt is fleshed perfectly, not a spare gram of ooze remains.
After air drying, how many days do I let it sit before I tan it?
Should I wait a month, like most fur auction houses do?
Or can I tan it next week.
Will the pelt be okay?
