Your turn around time can vary greatly depending on what tannery you choose. The supplier link at the homepage for Tax.net will get you to many different tanneries. Which one you use is up to you. They are all about 28 to 35 dollars for tanning a deer cape. I recommend that you search through this website for info on whichever tannery you choose, then contact that tannery and ask the specific questions you have asked here.

This may seem like a vague answer, and it is, because there are so many commercial tanneries available and everyone has their favorite.

Keep in mind that tanneries are at high volume right now and turn around time can be at the "longer" end of the scale.
