You don't need to tan then for that, only perserve for future use. Rub them down with table salt and let air dry. The skin will become hard and then store in cool dry place. Or you can keep your skins frozen, pull them out when you need hair, then put them back in the freezer.
After it's hard do I wash the salt off.
your only salting the meat side of the skin . Theres no reason to wash the salt off . Any extra can be brushed off when dry . Rick
