Snake skin tanning - How to

I need to tan a rattlesnake skin. What do I do?

Type in snake tanning and you will find there are several ways.

NO ANTIFREEZE, thats a bullshieit answer from people that dont know.


Antifreeze for snakes for John CB

Hey John, before saying something is bullcrap,why dont you try in
on a very small snake. I would hate to see you wasted a poor snake
skin. About ten years ago or maybe more than ten ago a hunting
mag. had quite a story about Antifreeze for snake skins. I do
remember it said to to tack the skin out flat and paint it with
Antifreeze and wait two or three days, then oil the skin. I don`t
use Bruces tan, but I sure don`t bad mouth them or other tanning
chemicals. Im sure some of trouble people are having is the way
they screwed up using the chemicals! I would like to have someone
E-Mail me that has tried the Antifreeze on snake skins. From someone
that has the guts to give their Whole name and E-Mail. I don`t
believe this site should accept any without a name and E-Mail!
