Hair slipping on deer heads after using new McKensie Tan

Has anyone experienced hair slipping after using the new McKensie Tan brush on tanning formula?
I have mounted 25 heads with Liquatan before this batch of heads with no problems. I followed the directions exactly. Anybody have any ideas?

Cary, that sounds like it is the hides, not the tan

Realistically, a hide can be mounted after it's been pickled as that's the prime step involved in any tanning. For years, that's all that was ever done to a hide anyway. The tanning agent will have little if any impact on hair slipping if the pickling is done properly.

The primary cause of all slipping is poor field care and handling prior to a taxidermist touching the capes. I dare say that if your hides slipped by using the McKenzie tan, they'd have certainly slipped with the Liqui-Tan as well.
