...whats all involved with sheep and wool skins for tanning. I know they need to be cleaned and combed differently, would you or anyone else knowledgable on this share some info? Ive always wondered! thanks in advance!
Bucks County Fur Products in Quakertown PA does washable Sheepskins. They use our EZ-100 tanning agent! Give Tom Kline a call at: (215) 536-6614.
The trick with tanning Sheepskins is properly degreasing them of the Lanolin in the Wool - and using an Ironing or Combing machine to open up the Wool. Doing it by hand is simply much too labor intensive, and besides being slow, doesnt produce the same results as the machines can.
