I need help! And im not sure were to turn. The place that was doing my tanning is having some personal trouble now and they are not sure if they will continue to tan anymore. I have been mounting deer and a few other animals for about 8 years and only know of one tanning method which is his. I would like to try to do my own or find a tannery like this one but im not real sure on how to go about it.
I have never used a fleashing wheel, these capes were all wet tanned all I had to do was wet salt and he would do the rest.
Please help! and does any one know if it is worth looking into a auto tanner i have heard they are good but im not sure what to do please stear me in the right direction.
P.S. I live in Michigan
Thanks for your help

I just love those happy endings! Good luck Mike!
you don't have time or room to tan your own then you couldn't live in a better state. The Wildlife Gallery in Blanchard Mi. is second to NONE! I've tried a few tanneries now and they do great work, decent turn-around time, and have excellent customer service!(Thanx Bill) They can be found at www.thewildlifegallery.com Peace- Jeff F.
i am in michigan and use wildlife gallery, they are the tops!
Try white tail systems TR supply sell it and they are in MI. I use it and it works really really good, and it is eazy to use. If you don't want to do it your self then wildlife gallery, West Michigan taxidermy in coopersville one of those, I don't know what their ph# are but I'm sure someone on here will.
