Quick question for you guys. After salting and drying my deer capes,what is the best way to store them if you can't get them to the tannery right away? I was thinking a plastic bag and tie tight. Is this the right method or am I way off base?

Putting it in a "plastic" bag will definitly ruin it. The salt will draw moisture and slip or mold the cape. Put it in paper or burlap if you want but all I do is put them in a cardboard box up off the floor.
