I just recently came across a deal from a EX-taxidermist who retired some 8yrs ago, I bought all his tools and supplys for $140.00. What a deal I got. Upon showing up to his shop he told me he also had a fleshing machine stored away in the barn out back, He included this in his price.
I am currently trying to teach myself how to use it,But heres where I need help on a questionable situation. The fleshing machine is a table top flesher, looks like a Dakota model or very similar mounted on table and stand, Anyways I am in question about the blade. If I were fleshing I would have to run the skins across the blade from left to right, Can I turn the blade around so that I can flesh from right to left? I know I would have better control this way, But I am still learning how to use it.
