Some of the paint is lifting off of my auto tanner .
Has any one else had the same problem .
It is an older tanner , Is there a new paint I can put on it ?
Thanks Doug

It starts to come off and rusts under the paint. Like you mentioned it is an old tanner. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that the new tanners are porcelain lined tanks. If I remember correctly you can trade the old tank in for one of the new ones. Contact Steve Rotramel for info. Other than that you can try to paint the inside with epoxy paint. That is what I did. I got a wire wheel brush for my drill and wire wheeled the inside loose paint. I then cleaned it out well and dried it. I then got a good 2 part epoxy paint and painted it. It worked for a while and then it happened again.

Also there are so many types of epoxie paint is there one that will hold up to the tanning acid I need to get this thing going soon getting backed up on work.
Like plumbers use and after scraping affected area clean, apply epoxy, let dry, you should be good to go
