I you change your pully size on the motor from the 2" factory pully to a 4" pully this will make the blade run faster. It dose help out, but I have only used it on deer capes.

I don't know squat about Dakota fleshers but I do know about moving parts. If you change the RPMs on anything when you are not supposed to it will most likely blow out! Be careful. I would call the factory and see if they think it will damage the tool.
