I got some of the tan solution on a Coyote hide. I was told that I should shampoo and blow dry the whole hide. If I do this will the hide get hard again? Will I need to stretch and break it again?

I don't know what kind of tan you used, but if you rehydrate a soft tanned hide it will stiffen up on you to a degree as it dries. You most likely will have to do some stretching and breaking of the hide again.
