I've been buying salt from the feed store. It has yellow prussiate of soda in it. I've looked in the archives and found some info. John C said it won't hurt the salt's performance. I don't see any problems with drying hides with it, but will it hurt a pickle or Krowtann? I recently switched to Krowtann and have had some minor epidermal slippage, thought maybe it was because of the soda.
In the meantime, I think I am going to get some Morton salt from the grocery store and call Ozark Woods and see if thte salt I have been buying is compatible with Krowtann.
