After tanning with Krowtann instead of freezing or mounting it can I just let it dry then stretch it for a dry tan or oil it while it is drying or is Krowtann a wet tan product only?

I tanned a deer hide and made a rug, I oil and broked hide whili it was drying, worked fine.
