It has a great tan whith the cristals but feels greasy . I have not oiled it yet . Will the hide paste set up or should i degrease again . I dont want to mess up the tan.

Hide has been soaked in degreaser ran through tanner shaved and ran through the tanner again ( pickeled) I need to know is it safe to degrease again or will it nutralize the pickle ( used tanning cristals made for the auto tanner ) or should I put is back in and pickle it again after I degrease.

Thanks

What kind of degreaser?

Sounds like your degreaser did NOT WORK.

Which crystals did you use to tan it with?

Need a lot more information before anyone can help you!

Thats like telling a mechanic the car makes a noise and expecting it to be fixed without doing a test drive and hearing the noise.

degease

Used Rittles degreaser and Steves arrow head cristals from Taxidermy Arts Supply.

Has any one degreased anything after using these taning cristals or will it ruin the tan ??
