This response is to anyone who wants to know about fleshing beaver an easy way.I fleshed my first beaver this past winter actually several beaver .I tried a fleshing beam and pvc pipe to flesh them on .Both worked but was slow going.I was reading the posts on taxidermy .net about fleshing and was getting desperate.I saw a post about useing high pressure water to flesh hides with.I,m not a taxidermist .I was tanning them for my own use and I didnt have anything to loose if i messed them up so I gave it a try. I didnt have a high pressure washer at home so i took them to the car wash of course I waited till no-one was around but who would be, when it was freezing outside. It was cold but all 5 hides were fleshed in minutes it really works.I sent them to a professional tannery and called them to see if I had made any mistakes They said my hides were great no problems, they turned out great .I highly reccomend useing water to flesh with.Try it you,ll see.
