I HAVE RECENTLY TAKEN UP COONHUNTING AND I WANT TO KEEP AT LEAST 12
HIDES FOR THE LITTLE ONES IN MY FAMILY. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IF I JUST DRIED THE HIDES THAT THEY WOULD BE FINE. IT DOESNT MATTER IF THE HIDES, (FLESH SIDE) ARE SOFT OR NOT. I JUST DONT WANT SOMETHING THAT STINCKS OR HAIR FALLING OUT. I CURANTLEY HAVE 4 25LB COONS IN THE FREEZER SO THE SOONER SOME ONE CAN HELP ME OUT THE HAPPIER ILL BE

Nail them to a peice of plywood flesh side up, cover liberally with salt, then tilt the plywood in an angle and let it dry . IT WILL DRIP so put it somewhere where grease on the floor will not hurt, also when it is dry do not let them get wet.

Make sure that the salt you use DOES NOT CONTAIN IODINE!
