re-using pickle bath?

Just wondering if you can re-use True-Tan acid bath crystals if you keep the ph at the proper level and how long you can safely keep a deer hide in it, I know they say you can keep one in safety-acid for over a week or two. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are to to cheap to buy pickle chemicals and water?

What will you save $1.50?

You will be using dirty, fatty water and then wonder why in the world the fur is greasy feeling.

Sometimes when you have a hobby it cost a tiny little bit of money to do the job corretly!

Since you think saving a $1.50 is so import, you should find a different HOBBY.

I wasn't trying to save any money, I was wanting to know if another hide (deer) could be added to the pickle 3-4 days after the pickle was made if the ph was good and how long it is safe to leave a hide in the pickle, did you read my question or just the headline? I wasn't planning on using it for a month. As for your attitude... pickle it!

Yes you can.

I have used mine over for many capes. I would recommend a salimeter. It will check your salt content. You want the salt to be about 40%. And also keep the ph balance in check. I have never had a problem with my fur being greasy so I am not sure what that comment was all about. I would change it though if it gets dirty.
