Hey guys, haven't been on much as we are getting "slammed" with deer, ducks and even boar right now. I'm about skinned out! Anyway, I figured Glen would read this with the title being "Stop Rot" and could answer the question so many are asking....When will Stop Rot be available in GALLONS?

So many are using Stop Rot on birds, mammals and fish. I always add it in my autotanner as many do.

Anyway, I couldn't seem to catch up with you Glen so I thought I would ask here so everyone would know.

Thanks, Mark

PS Good to see so many still around here.....and could someone please nudge Cecil and tell him his guy lost? LOL Talk to you soon.

Four quarts equal one gallon. I just had to say that.

Economics is one of the reasons we package everything in quarts. It is cheaper to buy a large quantity of a bottle size than what it would be to buy lesser quantities of two different sizes. We have to buy a half semi-load of quart bottles to get any kind of price break at all, and that is through a broker.

When we first started "bottle shopping", the first bid was for $2.60 for a quart bottle. The sample of this bottle, when filled with water, and placed on it's side leaked. Scratch that one. There is given criteria that must be met in the shipping industry, not only leakage, but bursting strength of bottles as well.

We also have shipping boxes made, again by industry requirements. Gallons would represent two more box sizes. A single box, and a box for four gallons. Some one has to pay for all of this, which the end consumer all ways gets the big burden.

We aren't going to play the marketing game of selling STOP-ROT in gallon containers, and jack up the price of quarts to make someone feel like they're getting a price break.

So in order to keep cost to everyone down, we package in quarts.

Sounds fair enough

Maybe I can put together a "4 quart price" at T R Supply that will make everyone happy.

Thanks Glen
