I'm going sqrirrel hunting this weekend and i want to tan a skin if i get one. I don't want to buy anything online yet, so can i salt the skin then go buy something at a hunting store.

You can salt it for the first 24 hrs and then the next day shake it off and resalt it. Then you can take your time and find what your looking for. But when your ready to tan it you'll have to rehydrate the squirell. There's plenty of on the search button on this and tanning. Just type it in.
