I always check my pickle Ph but never my neutral wash, what is the reccomended Ph for the neutral anyhow?

That's the midpoint of the pH scale. Tap water is usually considered the midpoint and 7 is that usual reading.
if tap water is 7 then you dont need to add baking soda or do you?just wondering?
