Mounting a lifesize elk. What would be the best tan to use?
I have done many deer and elk capes with ez-100 with great results.
I have done may capes with Krontan and really like the results but have never done an elk with this.

Sorry TC, couldn't help myself there. I recall doing animals like that years ago and thought nothing of it. Now, when I get a workorder like that one, I salt the sucker down and look for the best commercial tannery I can find closeby. In a big shop with a staff that's probably OK, but in one-man operations, I opt for letting someone else have that "pleasure".
