liqui tanned a deer hide 2 yrs ago
this year in bear i went to camp and it was very badly molded.
they told me it gets damp in the camp during summer.
hide was hanging over a chair.
why did it mold?
would dampness alone cause this?

If its organic IE..wood hide etc..and its humid..mold will grow on it..ever go into a damp basement thats been closed up..musty smelling..thats mold. If your cabin is closed up in the humid time of year that doesn't help either
