I have a sheep skin that I cleaned and salted well a year ago and have had rolled up since. I'd like to tan it now and have some bootled Tannit premix. Do I need to soak and salt it again or can I just put the tannit on and let it get soft?
Also, I bleached the wooly side pretty thoroughly, but is there a good way to get it soft and clean again?
