GARMENT LEATHER HELP

Ok i have a pretty stupid NON taxidermy question. i have a leather coat that is just a little big, i dont know of any way to shrink it or if it can be done. but i have heard putting a leather coat in the dryer will shrink it. could someone please give me some suggestions. thanks

Shrink it and maybe ruin it

I would take it to a professional and have them alter it.

dryer will not shrink it

take it to a furrier (fur coat store ) or leather coat store and ask them to alter it. Should not be very expensive.
