P.H gon crasey help pleas

6gal wattr 6lbs salt 3oz saffty acid P.H at 1.0 salt at 45% 3hrs P.H at 2.0 ad 1/2oz acid P.H at 1.5 10hrs P.H at 2.5 ad 1oz acid P.H at 1.5 3hrs P.H at 2.0 ad 1/2 oz acid P.H at 1.5 4hrs P.H at2.3 ad 1.2oz acid P.H at 1.5 is this normal shold i keep adding acid or what i have already doubled the acid. this is my first time pickling should i pull my capes or is it to late if not could some one give me the directions for kwik-n-eze

I e-mailed you the instructions for using KWIK-N-EZE. I like using the quicky method.

However - a good guess at the flucuations you see using the Saftee Acid may be due to the fact that perhaps whoever does your skinning and fleshing may be using Borax on them to soak up the fluids. That would definitely make the PH go berserk. Ask them to switch to something inert like sawdust flour.

Another possibility is - the Saftee Acid may have been frozen and is not completely thawed. Does it have tiny crystals in it? If so, warm it to room temperature and shake it until the crystals completely dissolve and then use it.

If you washed your capes the soap residue will drive the PH up up and up. Happens to me quite often. You really have to rinse the hell out of your skins and then monitor the PH closely.
