I purchased a qt. size bottle of saftee acid and used about a 1/4 of it 3 years ago is the rest of it still good and how long is shelf life of open bottle? Also will this bottle loose any strenth? Thanks for all your help.

Saftee Acid does not evaporate like Formic does. It should still be good to use. It is a very stable acid! No fumes or smell to it!
I have a very fresh sheep hide which I would like to tan or preserve for my tractor seat. I have scrapped the flesh & fat from the hide and have added table salt. I would like to know where & how to go from here.
