MUST MAINTAIN PH

As long as you maintain a PH of 2.5 or lower you will be ok. I read the same directions the same way. I always check it every other day except for the first 24 hrs and I check it until it stabilizes.

thanks

I'd check it!

I always check it. When I mix it - it should be a 1.5 PH or lower - thats if you use Saftee Acid or Oxalic Acid. Then after I add the skins to it - about 1-2 hours later I check it again. It should hold at 1.5 PH or lower - if not - I add more acid. I will also check it the next day - especially if I had to adjust it. After that I chaeck it about every other day.
