I would like too know what solutin kit for both tanning and pickling hides is the best to purchase from Van Dykes. I was either going to gwet Lutan F kit or the Krowtan kit bottle however Im unsure if the Krowtan omes with the pickle sloution or not. What I want to tan with a kit from them is maybye a coyote rug a cased coyoe wall hanger and a deer cape from a doe and a grey Fox to hang in my room not to sell. to sell as a rug at a art and craft festival.
The reason the coyote needs to be a soft supple when tanned is that Im going to tie it around a stick with raw hide and make a Native American spear. another question how much would you sell this spear with the pelt and a real arrow head attached to it.

i would go with the ez-100. it is easy simple to use and makes a vey soft pelt. it is also washable. ask bruce Rittel he will tell ya.
