i have some rabbit skins and i don't think i defleshed them very good. they have been salted tanned and everything already but i was wondering if i could rehydrate them and deflesh them. if i can, do i need to slat them afterwards and re-tan and all that over agian?

Simply rehydrate them and re-pickle them. After 3 days - remove and thoroughly flesh them clean. Then neutralize and retan and oil. No need to re-salt again.
To rehydrate them - mix 4 ozs. of salt to every 1 gallon of water - soak them for 30 minutes - place them in a garbage bag and refrigerate them overnight. The next day they should be relaxed for pickling.
