Why would you do something like that?

The pickling stage is today's precursor to tanning. Years ago, it was the one and only step used. To pickle a hide and then basically spray a liquified dry preservative on really is a combination of two separate procedures.

well i see old george is back to his old, know it all self!the truth is pickeling and neutralizing before spray tan would be better however if youve done this much work go a little better and use liquid tan or another paint on tan. the results are worth it and you will have a tanned cape.Ben Mears now has a new "para tan" system that is simple and excellent.ask him to send it to tou with your next order. good luck

Uh, "J", exactly what did I miss

You did a nice tapdance there, but aside from trying to correct a "lie" I told, you basically said the same thing. I know several champion taxidermists who use the Spray Tan, and UNLIKE YOU or Jody here, they READ THE DIRECTIONS and followed them.
