Does anyone know what is the best tanning kit to purchase from Van Dykes Taxidermy ? The kind of kit I want is a kit that includes little or no breakingI aslo want the hides to be soft and pliable. I also want a kit that produces a commercial tan that has soft pliable skins.I would like the kit to also include instructions for the right pickling solution to use,and degreasing .

First of all the Eze 100 is good. But you will not find any tan that will give you a soft flexible hide without some elbow grease. I do not care what tan you use you will have to break the hide. Unless you have a large fur tumbler.

I used a tanning kit I bought from www.fieldnwater.com They have one heck of an article on tanning at home. The hide came out good using the kit, but if your looking for a real soft tan without elbow grease, send it to a tannery.
