i was wonderin what is the right mixture for lime and ? for the removal of hair on a cow hide and the quickest/? per gallon of water
i am only doin a 4 ft by 4 ft piece .thank you

Just use 8 Ozs. of Hydrated Lime/1 Gallon of Water. Soak the skin for 7-9 days. Do not remove it until the hair falls off at your touch. Then put it on your fleshing Beam and flesh it all off. Then - you must "kill" the Lime effect by soaking it in an acidic solution. I suggest using Ammonium Sulphate.
