Question about Neutralizing

I found lots of good information using the orange button, but I am still unsure of one item. Most people using Saftee Acid recommend leaving a whitetail cape in the pickle for three days, then shave, followed by one more day in the pickle. Am I supposed to neutralize the skin before shaving and again after the last day in the pickle or just once after the entire process? I have seen both methods used in the archives, but I'm not sure which is best.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

you should only do it after the entire process. you dont nuetralize until you are done with the pickle , three days in , then shave, one day in and then you can neutralize and tan.

Neutralize just before the tanning.

I see a lot of newbies making the mistake of neutralizing before the tanning.

It is the last step IMMEDIATLY BEFORE TANNING.

Understand a cape NEUTRALIZED TO LONG IS GOING TO SLIP!
