I am having trouble getting my tanned hides soft and white. Sure could use some info on this. Thanks

this is what people spend lifetimes and 1000's of $$ to learn.
it takes a combination of great chemistry, elbow grease. and good eqpt. too. good luck.

No Tan is going to give you a soft hide or pelt, without breaking the hide first. You're either going to have to tumble the hide or break it using a staker of some kind. And if you go to tumbling the hide You're going to need a large drum, At least 6' high by 4' wide. Go to the Orange Search Button and check on breaking hides.
