I got in a Mouflon for a life size last night and as i skinned and fleshed it i noticed how thin the skin was. I will be sending this out for tanning so i'm going to salt dry the hide. Are there any special precautions taken with sheep compared to a whitetail or a goat?

as a whitetail. but like you said, there skins are much thinner so i wouldnt use those ear seperaters to seperate the skin from the cartlidge. just turn it using a exacto knife. in hawaii thats all i do is work on those animals on other exotics and not that many whitetails. if you have any ?'s you can simply email me with the address posted above. g-luck!
