I just got my hides back from them last week and they looked great. I know there's been some bad press about Sivko in the past couple years. But Paul is the new owner and is trying to turn things around and regain trust etc. I haven't had a problem in the 2 yrs. I've been dealing with them. Their turn around is good 6-8 weeks. I ran away from Interstate Tannery since Wayne passed away. Alls I've had is problems with them, they need to turn themselves around too.
I had very bad dealings with sivko and they almost cost me my business. I hate to bash anyone, but in this business your reputation is everything.
Very bad dealings with these people, stay away, send to a real tannery, dont be burned. dont learn the hard way.
I personaly visited sivko before using them and was really impressed with the shop, the process and the people. Thay did 3 beavers i could not do myself (greasy) and thay were as soft as a babys skin. Right now thay have 10 yote's of mine and expect them to just as nice. I belive the end result is only as good as the product you start with. Every hide i inspected in their shop looked real nice. The reason i am commenting is i"ll bet for every bad comment on here, there's hundreds of good ones not being mentioned. Thats my 2 cents. mark
