washing blood and other dirty things....

Ok, i recently skinned out a couple of animals....they're a pretty bloody and one is alil muddy.....

when should i clean all that off?
how should i do it and keep the hair from slipping?

If your using krowtann i would clean them and then go right in to the solution. I have not had any problems this way. If the animal is not questionable you can wash them then tumble the hide to get water out then go on the the salting be sure to get the hair dry or your going to have trouble. Remember Blood and bacteria are causes for slippage.
