I am new to tanning and have a couple questions. I have read post and done searches but want to make sure I understand it. I am going to be purchasing a fleshing machine and want to make sure I take the proper steps. This is what I think I need to do:
Skin, remove red meat and split eyes, nose and lips. (do you want the lips eyes and nose completely fleshed at this point thin like using dp?)
salt on an incline, reapply salt after 1 day. (how long do I apply the second salt for?
Rehydrate in solution (which is best)
Pickle (again, which is best or preferred)
Remove from pickle
Nuetralize
Shave on flesher (do I need to return to pickle?)
Apply liqua tan or similar product.
Freeze or (mount -->after a day or so)
I am sorry for all the questions but I am new to tanning (used to dp) and want to improve my quality of work. Since there are so many excellent taxidermists on here, I figured I would pick your brains. Thank you in advance for your time. I know especially in this field of work that time is money. Thanks again.

That's the way I learned. Hope it helps.
