I had a couple of rust spots start in mine and I contacted Steve about them. Both were small, quarter sized, and he said to take some epoxy that I might have left over from a fish or deer head and put it over the rust spots. I have used the tanner several times since with no rust or signs of it coming off. Mine has an open 1" square tubing baffle and I filled it with Magic Sculpt also.

I had the same problem. I got a replacement tank from Steve at Animal arts tax. supply. It is a little bigger and is porcline lined. I got mine for 425.00 plus shipping. It comes with lid bearrings and a presure manifold. I used epoxi, rino liner and several other things, but it still got water under it. Randall
