Should a fish smell fishy after it's been tanned? I'm talking months or years after... The fish look great that I did a few years ago, but if you get up close to them, you can get a wif of fishy. Is this normal?
I'm not sure if "tanned" is the correct word, but I use the water/borax/lysol solution (I think that's it). My exact measurements of each are at home at the moment, but those are the ingredients. I'm checking into other methods.

...get all the meat out.
Once dried, mounted, sealed and painted - I don't smell any fishy smell when I stick my nose in the mouths of the ones on my wall here...
