a natural tanning process for lizard skin?

I'm having trouble finding any info on the process of skinning an Australian lizard skin. If anyone has info on the full process of preserving a raw skin it would be appreciated. I wan't to use natural household ingredients. I have collected some black wattle bark as i've heard it works well. I've also heard that urine works well! Any comments would be great,
thanks

I'm ASSUMING you live Down Under and finding good commercial products is difficult. The "wattle bark" sounds as if it were to be used for a tanning agent due to the tannin in the bark. That's not what a lizard skin will need. If you're planning on mounting it, vinegar will work rather well for a "pickle tan", but if you're planning on making lizard skin boots, you're going to have to add some type of oil to the skin once you remove it from the vinegar.

Tom Voyer or Evelyn Mills (Superpig) can probably provide you with some better info.
