I'm needing help finding a tannery that's even close to our home. We live in Northern Virginia. A Native American couple that works on my parents farm gave us a buffalo hide, tail included. I have NO idea how to go about tanning this HUGE, HEAVY thing myself. I've read quite a few posting on here and everything I've read that pertains to buffalo hides, say to send it off to have it done. Now my dilemma is figuring out just where to send it. Anybody have any good ideas? Any pointers will be appreciated as again, I have NO CLUE what i'm doing. Thanks.
