Do anti fur slippage liquids work well. If so, at what time do you put it on the pelt? What is the process that stops fur slippage?
Thanks

Yea, I was lucky. A friend on mine gave me some stop-splip (I think this is the name).

the third deer I mounted started slipping hair terrible. So I continued to mount the head, and the totally covered the hide with this stuff. Nothing else slipped from the hide. So I keep it handy

More than likely, you won't need Stop Slip or anything else if you use a good Bacteriacide in you solutions. Bacteria is one of the biggest causes of hair slip. Salt drying retards it, and bacteriacide kills it, pickles don't always do the trick.
