new at this and I tanned a badger, needless to say it should be thinner. Can I thin the hide now that it has been tanned. I used Lutan F if that makes a difference.

Thinning after tanning is done quite often. Especially on thicker animals and in delicate areas such as the eyes, lips,etc.
Do you use the same method as you would before tanning? In that do you have to use a special knife?
Bill, just use the same method of thinning the cape before you tanned the hide.
