Vacuum seal..

Spend about $100 and get a vacuum sealer... I vacuum pack tons of stuff, lasts a long time that way.

Wear a coat and gloves and good boots.

Fill a sink

up with water, place your item in a plastic bag (zip-lock), leave the bag open, submerge the bag with the item in it but leave the opening above the water line just enough to close or seal the bag. The pressure from the water will force the air out of the bag which is what you want to reduce freezer burn.
